My dad was incredibly smart, kind, funny & humble. ‬

‪He respected everyone regardless of who they were, what they had or what they believed in. He believed that there was something to learn from everyone.‬

‪He wanted everybody around him to succeed and supported our visions and dreams. ‬

‪He loved me very dearly. ‬

‪I stumbled on one of the tributes that his colleagues had written where they referred to me as “his world” — it wasn’t a lie.‬

‪He was meticulous about my progress. He wanted the best for me and he showed it, he was always attentive and thorough.‬

‪He told me that I could do and be anything, that nothing was too big for me to achieve — he showed me that he would always have my back and do his part. ‬

‪Our relationship had its ups and downs but I guess that’s part of life. ‬He made mistakes as all parents do but I cannot deny that even those were borne out of his love for me.‬

‪He was a fascinating man. ‬

‪He loved plants, animals and nature in general, flowers and wildlife fascinated him. ‬He loved taking pictures and videos of everything.

‪We watched Chopped, Dragon’s Den, NatGeoWild, The Crime Channel and even Disney shows together. ‬

‪Today makes it 5 years without him and I still miss him very much.

I always will.
